Nutritionist Deborah Scott has established Context Nutrition. Context Nutrition’s strapline is Live, Evolve, Thrive. The name is to reflect the relevance of what we do in context to a person’s lifestyle. Our philosophy is not to try to live up to unrealistic ideals but to aim for the best health profile that can be achieved in context to the life that people lead. Context has successfully worked with clients both in the corporate world and with private individuals.


Deborah has a 1st class honours degree in Nutrition and graduated from Liverpool John Moores University’s Bimolecular & Pharmacy School with the highest honours project for any degree programme for her year. Deborah was also awarded the National Yakult Award for the work she did as an undergrad. As a postgrad she has co-authored published papers from the work she conducted as a research assistant and a postgraduate student at the University of Liverpool’s Institute of Aging and Chronic Disease where she was a research student in Clinical Science. At Liverpool she specifically focused on genetics, stem cell biology and the role antioxidants play in muscle hypertrophy.


Deborah now divides her time between developing her business and her position at LJMU’s Faculty of Education, Health and Community were her innovation was recognised by a Vice Chancellors Award. She has also completed the Aurora Leadership Development Programme and is a Fellow of the AUA.Deborah is passionate to use her skills and experience to help people optimise their nutrition and wellbeing in order to live, evolve; thrive (the strapline to Context Nutrition).
