Dr Bontea qualified as consultant dermatologist back in 2013 in Romania. His passion for skin cancer brought him to the UK in 2014 and since he worked as dermatologist in Ormskirk, Aintree, Broadgreen ,Salford and Chester.

He developed his skin cancer expertise by participating in advanced surgery courses in Europe ( EADV) and advanced dermoscopy and confocal dermatoscopy.
He currently has mostly skin cancer assessments and treatment in his job plan.

He specialised in advanced head and neck surgery and he is skilled in flaps, wide local excision and skin grafts.
During his time in Ormskirk Hospital he became phototherapy lead and developed the service for his eczema and psoriasis patients. He continued his work with photography in Aintree Hospital where he currently works.

Dr Bontea also enjoys the cosmetic side of dermatology and performs various treatments- Botox , fillers, chemical peel, laser treatment just to name a few.
